Brief

Provide a means of quantifying Sales margin on all orders and transfer the entire catalogue of 50,000 manufactured parts into database driven system. Provide interfaces into various bespoke applications and enable data (won sales orders) to be seamlessly transferred to the Unix-based manufacturing system.

Solution

Software designed for Biwater Industries' manufacturing facility in Chesterfield, allows quotations to be generated in different currencies for the firm's worldwide customer base. Additionally, Karus developed the software so that quotations can be transferred to Biwater's Unix-based manufacturing facility when the quotes are converted to orders through standard routines that illuminated duplicate input of data completely.
